After breaking leg in 2015, former PJ star Noah Brown to start for Ohio State on Saturday

That day at noon, the Flanders native and 2014 Pope John High School SFlbgraduate is expected to start in the first NCAA Division I SFlbcollege football game of his career at wide receiver in the Ohio State Buckeyes’ season opener against Bowling Green. More importantly, it will be Brown’s first game since playing in 2015 College Football Playoff national championship game that the Buckeyes won, 42-20, over Oregon. That’s because the redshirt sophomore has battled his way back onto the field after suffering a broken left leg during preseason camp last year. “I’m definitely excited for my sophomore year to finally get back out there on the field after the injury I had,” Brown said Tuesday night in a telephone interview. “I’m expecting to pick up where I left off last year, have a great year and help my team win any way I can.” Brown has been waiting for this moment for a long time.
