If the Buckeyes can avenge last year’s loss at home to Michigan State by winning in the shadows of the Sparty statue, that could set up the most anticipated showdown in the storied Ohio State-Michigan rivalry since No. 1 vs. No. 2 in 2006. What a way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of that epic clash, right? Michigan will be two years into the turnaround under Jim Harbaugh and all those Buckeyes getting their baptisms under fire will be grizzled — hopefully not charred — veterans by the time Nov. 26 rolls around in Columbus.
