The 6-7, 310-pound offensive lineman — who graduated early from Plymouth High School last year to get a head start on his college football career — reportedly is set to start at left guard as a true freshman for Ohio State University noon Saturday against Bowling Green. Jordan follows the likes of all-world kicker Kyle Brindza and linebacker Brennen Beyer, who in recent years rode standout prep and college careers careers right up into the National Football League. Making the trip from metro Detroit to Columbus for Saturday’s Jordan debut will be his coach with the Wildcats, Mike Sawchuk. Like everybody else connected with the Plymouth program, that Jordan already is emerging on the NCAA Division I stage is no surprise given his unbelievable talent and work ethic.
