Ohio State football bolstered its top-ranked 2017 recruiting class by adding five-star wide receivers Trevon Grimes and Tyjon Lindsey. Coach Urban Meyer has a nation-high 16 commitments out of the ESPN 300, with Grimes the No. 27-ranked prospect overall and Lindsey No. 76. Grimes gives Meyer four Top 300 commitments from the state of Florida alone, while Lindsey will join high school teammates Tate Martell and Haskell Garrett. Lindsey, who is from Las Vegas, made his announcement Monday, with Grimes making an unexpected appearance in the video to add his name to the class as well. They are the first commitments to Ohio State’s Class of 2017. Lindsey is a 5-foot-9, 181-pound five-star recruit out of Bishop Gorman, while Grimes started at vaunted St. Thomas Aquinas and had long been expected to commit to Ohio State.
