Today at No. 7: Ohio State Coach: Urban Meyer (50-4, entering fifth season; 154-27 overall) 2015 record: 12-1 overall, 7-1 conference; tied for first in East Division Look back: Ohio State entered as the 2015 preseason as favorites to claim a national title for the first time since 2006 while riding a 13-game win streak. The run spanned 23 games after the team went 10-0 to open 2015, but it ended there after a tough 17-14 loss to Michigan State. The loss to the Spartans ending Ohio State’s hopes of repeating as Big Ten champions and any chance of making the College Football Playoff semifinals. Instead the team whipped Michigan in the regular-season finale and defeated Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl to cap another 12-win season.
