The run spanned 23 games after the team went 10-0 to open 2015, but it ended there after a tough 17-14 loss to Michigan State. The loss to the Spartans ending Ohio State’s hopes of repeating as Big Ten champions and any chance of making the College Football Playoff semifinals. Instead the team whipped Michigan in the regular-season finale and defeated Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl to cap another 12-win season.
