The conversation about Ohio State football often starts and ends with quarterback JT Barrett. The talented junior is finally has the team all to his lonesome. He has this young team ready to roll, and Barrett is on the Heisman watch for good reason. Barrett’s notable numbers It’s been quite the ride so far for number 16. He has a 15-2 record as a starter in his two seasons, and was 11-1 in 2014. During that incredible season, Barrett was the Big Ten quarterback of the year. He amassed 19 Ohio State and Big Ten records, and really cemented himself as a force to be reckoned with. He is first at Ohio State with nearly 237 yards per contest, and this would be higher if he started more games in 2015. Most notably, he’s first in touchdowns for a single season (45). In addition, Barrett is also third on the programs total touchdowns list (77), and will most likely have that record soon enough.
