If you are a promising high school football player, one of the most exciting times of your young career is when the recruiting letters from major colleges start flying in. The only thing better than recruiting letters is official offers and Tate Martell, a top quarterback in the Class of 2017, shared his offer on Monday. Monday, Aug. 1 marks the first day programs can officially offer players and the Buckeyes wasted no time sending an offer to their top quarterback target. After receiving his offer, Martell ran to social media to let us all join him in the special moment which you can see above. As one of the top signal-callers in his draft class, there is plenty of excitement about what Martell will be able to do during his career under center in Columbus. But while we don’t know whether he will pan out, we do know that he has some big shoes to fill after players like Braxton Miller, Cardale Jones and J.T.
