Granville grads enjoy rubbing elbows with ex-Buckeyes

Ty and Tay Compton once were those young Blue Aces. On Sunday, Ty was catching a touchdown from McMullen, and Tay was matching him throw for throw. “We remember seeing him play for Ohio State, and it’s kind of cool to be out here with him,” Ty Compton said. “We have played in this the past three years. I interned with (Granville Recreation District) so I got in contact with (game director Kevin Rine) and he asked us to play the first year. We have been lucky enough to come back.” The Granville graduates stole the show at their alma mater during the OSU All-Star Bowl. Team SKNLUV beat Max Effort Muscle for the third consecutive season, 48-22. The event, which was hosted at Granville in 2014 and New Albany a year ago, raises money for cancer research and awareness with a particular focus on skin cancer.
