John Kasich for president, the Kasich campaign announced. In a video released by the campaign, Mr. Meyer said, “We wish you the best, go win this darn thing.” [embedded content] In the video, Mr. Meyer said that before he made his decision, he did some research “about the great work, the great leadership you’ve shown our great state.” The endorsement comes less than a week before Ohio Republicans will vote for a presidential nomination. Mr. Kasich, who lags behind three other GOP rivals, has staked his campaign on winning Ohio’s 66 delegates. The primary election is Tuesday.
