OSU’s Meyer endorses Kasich for president

John Kasich, right.ASSOCIATED PRESS Enlarge Urban Meyer, head football coach at The Ohio State University, today endorsed Ohio Gov. John Kasich for president, the Kasich campaign announced. In a video released by the Kasich campaign, Mr. Meyer says, ”we wish you the best, go win this darn thing.” In the video, Mr. Meyer says before he made his decision he did some research ”about the great work, the great leadership you’ve shown our great state.” The endorsement comes less than a week before Ohio Republicans will vote for a Republican presidential nomination. Mr. Kasich, who is lagging behind three other GOP candidates, has staked his campaign on winning Ohio’s 66 delegates.
