Ohio State Football’s Ezekiel Elliott’s best landing spots on Draft Day

Ohio State Football has seen numerous great running backs come through its facilities and Ezekiel Elliott wound up being one of them. In recent years, Buckeye talent has yet to find its footing when transitioning from the colligate level to the professional level, but Elliott looks to break the trend. He is rated as the best running back in the draft and, after seeing what Todd Gurley was able to accomplish for St. Louis (and now Los Angeles), the value of what a good running back can do is at a recent all-time high. Elliott is placed at the top of this year’s running back class because of the versatility he will bring to any team with his size, hands, and play-making ability without the football in his hands. Elliott is the best pass-blocking running back in the draft, which is usually an overlooked detail when evaluating a prospect. Regardless of where he ends up going, the “Hero in a Half-Shirt” will inevitably make an instant impact on offense by helping run the ball, spreading the field on out routes, and keeping his quarterback safe on drop backs. Being drafted is not a question, but where he is drafted most certainly is and here are the teams being discussed as potential suitors for Elliott’s services. The lingering question, though, is where does he fit in the best? Here are the five best case scenario potential suitors for top running back and former Ohio State Buckeye Ezekiel Elliott.
