After winning the College Football National Championship in 2014, the Ohio State Buckeyes were considered to be the favorites to win it all again this year. According to one of the Buckeyes best players, Joey Bosa, the pressure and high expectations from their fan base was frustrating to deal with throughout the 2015 season. Bosa told Sam Khan Jr. of ESPN.com that the team never felt like they could never satisfy the fan base this year. “It just seems like nothing is ever good enough unless you’re beating teams by 50 points,” Bosa said Wednesday. “You win by 20 and it was a bad week. That was a struggle for us, because you never feel like you’re good enough. It’s hard when your own fan base is getting after you for being what, 10-0? And they still weren’t happy. We won [23] games in a row.” Following the Buckeyes 10-0 start to the 2015 season, they hosted Michigan State, who defeated Ohio State 17-14 which all but crushed their chances of making the College Football Playoffs this season. …
