After a dominant victory against the Scarlet Knights, Ohio State Football fans were able to breathe a sigh of relief. J.T. Barrett was back at the starting helm of the Buckeye offense and, for the first time this season, they looked like a complete and dominant force on that side of the ball. We all knew not to get too comfortable though, because being an Ohio State fan makes you vulnerable for success, happiness, and a fair share of disappointment. Barrett was arrested Saturday morning for an OVI and was immediately suspended for the Minnesota game. Not only was he suspended, but he also lost his athletic scholarship for one term. So here we are, back to week one with the luxury of having undefeated Cardale Jones leading the offense once again but this time, I think the Buckeyes will see a different Cardale Jones. He won over the starting job and was undefeated as a starter but lacked accuracy, leadership skills, and good decision-making. Urban Meyer recognized this and relinquished the starting role back to Barrett halfway through the season. …
