Urban Meyer has reinstated Senior middle linebacker Storm Klein.
“As I had indicated previously, if there are changes in the charges against Storm, I would re-evaluate his status,” Meyer said in a press release. ” The charges that would have violated our core values have been totally dismissed. I have spoken extensively to members of both families and that has prompted me to reassess his situation and allow him back.”
As we reported yesterday Klein accepted a plea deal that reduced a domestic violence charge to misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Going to trial in late September would have effectively ruled out his return this season.
Klein was immediately dismissed from the team by Urban Meyer on July 6 but said he could review Klein’s status if charges were dropped. He will not be allowed to play until at least the third game.
