Ohio State Running Back Bri’onte Dunn will not face drug charges

Freshman running back Bri’onte Dunn Drug will not face drug charges after a complete review of the police reports, supplemental narratives from officers, witness statements and about a 30-minute police cruiser video via CantonRep.com

Police found a minute amount of marijuana in the car as well as a marijuana pipe.

Alliance City Law Director Andrew Zumbar said:

“Based upon the content of all the evidence reviewed, I made the decision to authorize the minor misdemeanor disorderly conduct instead of the drug possession because throughout the entire (traffic) stop Bri’onte Dunn is consistent and denies the paraphernalia and the small amount marijuana are his,” Zumbar said. “The paraphernalia was not found on him.”

McKensey Cross, who was the passenger with Dunn, will receive the same charges as Dunn. Dunn will also be charged for a tail light violation.

It’s being reporting that Dunn’s mom Donna showed up at the seen of the traffic stop to tell police it was her weird in the car.  The car is registered in her name.

This is great news for Ohio State who is already thin at running back with Jordan Hall out for the first part of the season.
