Following recruitment offers its ups and downs, and sometimes, plenty of surprises. On this day, April 10th, 2012, it was no different. As most of us were formulating guesses about who the next commit would be in the class of 2012, nobody would have guessed Riverside, California tight end Marcus Baugh. But in fact, he became the 8th member of the Buckeyes’ class of 2013 to commit. Last season Baugh became more important to his school’s offense and played an integral part in his school’s passing game. His junior season did not go unnoticed as the tight end racked up offers from top-tier programs such as Washington, Arizona, Arizona State, Florida, Miami, California, Ole Miss, and of course, Ohio State. This evening Baugh pledged his commitment to Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes.
